As part of a multi-day meeting between the Diocesan Caritas Associations of Görlitz and Rottenburg-Stuttgart, as well as the Caritas regions of Heilbronn-Hohenlohe, Görlitz, and Cottbus, we were delighted to welcome a delegation to Eisenwerk Würth for a collaborative exchange.
The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to discuss current challenges such as structural change, securing skilled labor, and the cooperation between the social economy and the industrial sector.
A particular highlight was the factory tour. Together with our Managing Director Joachim Vianden, Head of Technology Management Timo Winkler, and Mayor Timo Frey, we were able to provide the participants with insights into our processes, technologies, and corporate philosophy. This led to fascinating discussions about the parallels and differences between business and social services—and the importance of tackling challenges together.
We were very pleased with the interest shown and the open dialogue. Personal exchange between different sectors of society consistently proves how valuable it is to look beyond one's own horizon.
A big thank you to everyone involved for the visit and the valuable impulses. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
